Despite it's unappealing name, and ingredient of vinegar, this traditional custard pie has held up over the years as a favorite in Tennessee. Try it out!
- In a large bowl, beat eggs with a whisk, then add butter, sugar, vinegar, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg and whisk to combine.
- Pour into the pie crust.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool.
- Slice and serve at room temperature.
