Despite it's unappealing name, and ingredient of vinegar, this traditional custard pie has held up over the years as a favorite in Tennessee. Try it out!

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, beat eggs with a whisk, then add butter, sugar, vinegar, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg and whisk to combine.
  2. Pour into the pie crust.
  3. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven and let cool.
  5. Slice and serve at room temperature.
