Select ingredients:


  1. Follow pre-cook instructions for basmati rice.
  2. Combine water, coconut milk, sugar, red pepper flakes and salt in heavy large saucepan; simmer then stir in rice.
  3. Cover rice and lower the heat to medium-low and simmer for about 12 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let stand 10 minutes.
  5. Transfer rice to bowl; sprinkle with toasted coconut.
