Delightfully spooky and oh-so-delicious, these cookie dough mummies are fun to make and ever more fun to eat. Remind your little guests to be careful when biting into these because the sticks are in the centers (you can also opt to skip the sticks entirely).

Directions

  1. Place the sandwich cookies in a zip-top bag or between two layers of waxed paper and crush with a rolling pin until they reach a consistency that'€™s fairly fine.
  2. Mix the cookie crumbs with the softened cream cheese.
  3. Add the chocolate chips and mix thoroughly.
  4. Roll the dough into 1- to 1-1/2-inch balls.
  5. Chill the dough balls in the refrigerator for several hours.
  6. Melt the white melting wafers according to the directions on the package.
  7. Place a lollipop stick in each dough ball and coat each one with the white melting wafers, spooning the melted wafers over each dough ball.
  8. Tap off the excess.
  9. Place on a cookie sheet and add a pair of candy eyeballs to each ball.
  10. Transfer the remaining white melting wafers into a squeeze bottle (or a plastic bag with a corner cut off) and drizzle back and forth over each face to create the mummy's "€œbandages".
  11. Enjoy!!
