Get ready to enjoy all of the classic flavors of an Italian sub sandwich rolled up in a wrap with an Italian-seasoned cream cheese. This lunchtime recipe is a great main dish to pack up in a picnic basket or cooler and share with the family. Or when it’s time for the kids to head back to school, it’s a nutritious, filling wrap that is sure to create some lunch bag envy in the cafeteria.
Mix together the cream cheese, banana peppers, black olives and Italian seasoning in a medium bowl. Evenly divide the cream cheese spread between the flour tortillas and spread into a thin layer on each one.
Layer 4 provolone halves, 3 ham slices, 3 salami slices, 3 pepperoni slices, sliced tomato and shredded lettuce across half of 1 tortilla. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
Roll the tortillas up tightly beginning with the topping half of the tortilla and ending with the cream cheese side. Cover and allow to chill for 1 hour.
- Slice each rolled tortilla into 4 1-inch-thick pieces using a serrated knife.
