This versatile salsa takes only minutes to prepare. It is a winning appetizer served with tortilla chips. Or use it as a topping for grilled fish or chicken. The hearty salsa will keep in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

- Stir together the lime juice, cilantro, jalapeno pepper, garlic, sugar, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl.
- Stir in the beans, tomato, corn, and scallions. Taste and adjust the seasoning.
