An easy one-pot dish that you can load up with veggies or keep simple.
- In a deep frying pan, melt butter and add rice. Cook, stirring frequently, until rice begins to brown.
- Add water, onion powder and half of soy sauce. Bring to boil. Stirring often, let simmer for about 4-6 minutes, or until liquid just begins to disappear.
- Add crab, peas, mushrooms and remaining soy sauce. Continue stirring to mix well. When liquid has all but disappeared, the rice is ready to serve. Tip: If you don't serve immediately, add water to keep mixture from sticking. Bring back to a boil if you add too much.
