Creamed spinach is a classic side that's a perfect accompaniment to any main dish. This recipe is ready in less than 10 minutes.
- Melt butter over medium high heat in a medium saute pan. Add olive oil, onions and garlic. Sweat the onions and garlic until soft (about 2 minutes). Add the spinach and mix thoroughly.
- Add salt, nutmeg, and heavy cream to spinach mixture. Stir well and cook until liquid reduces to half its amount.
