- Let cheddar cheese set out until softened to room temperature. Mix cheddar cheese, cream cheese, salt and wine in food processor until thoroughly combined.
- Spoon cheese mixture onto plate and let chill in fridge until pliable.
- While cheese ball is chilling, cook butter until brown. Add slivered almonds and sautee until extra crunchy. Set aside to cool.
- When cheese is hardened, roll into a ball and roll in almond mixture. Place on a platter with almond crackers and serve.
