Use crumbled cookies for dirt & a strawberry for the carrot. Create your very own carrot patch garden today with these Easter & spring themed cupcakes!
Directions
-
Dig a hole in the top of each cupcake. Carve out a hole that’s large enough to fit a strawberry halfway in.
-
Frost the cupcake with chocolate buttercream frosting.
-
Remove the cream filling from the Crème-O’s cookies and place the cookie halves in a zip-top bag and crush them up. Add a spoonful of crushed cookie over the frosting.
-
Cover the tops completely but don’t fill the holes entirely.
-
Melt the candy melts according to package directions and dip in each strawberry (don’t cover the top). Set them on parchment paper to dry.
-
Once you’ve dipped all of your strawberries, quickly add the last of the candy melts into a piping bag and pipe small uneven lines across your “carrots” to create a realistic carrot effect.
-
“Plant” a carrot in each cupcake hole.
-
Serve and enjoy!
