Ingredients
Directions
-
In a bowl, combine the sugar cookie dough with the ¼ cup of powdered sugar. Mix thoroughly.
-
Roll out the dough into an oval/egg shape between two sheets of parchment paper.
-
Trim the dough as needed. Bake the tart on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a 350 degree oven for 15 to 19 minutes.
-
Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine the butter, the cream cheese, the 2 cups of powdered sugar, and the vanilla. Mix well.
-
When the cookie is fully baked, allow to cool completely before adding the cream cheese mixture.
-
Choose a pattern for your “egg” and draw some guidelines in the cream cheese to assist you in placing the fruit in an even manner.
-
Arrange your fruit in any pattern you choose (using any fruits you choose); in this case, you can see how the blueberries were used in a triangular pattern.
-
Fill in the remaining spaces with fruit.
-
Cut and serve!
