Grease a 9x13 baking dish and spread 1 cup of the pasta sauce in the bottom of the dish.
Add the ravioli in a single layer over the pasta sauce.
Add the remaining pasta sauce over the ravioli.
Place the mozzarella cheese all over the top.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in a 400-degree oven for 35 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes.
Before serving, top with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh or dried basil, if desired.
