Easy Georgian Cornbread Cake

Select ingredients:


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, beat eggs with a whisk.
  3. Add oil, vanilla brown and white sugar, and salt and whisk to combine.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine salt, baking powder, flour, cornmeal and pecans.
  5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet and stir with a spatula just until smooth.
  6. Transfer batter to a 9x12” pan or four small loaf pans.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
