Put a twist on lemonade with this grilled pineapple lemonade recipe. Cook the pineapple on the grill to get the unique fruity and smoky flavor!
- In a large pitcher, combine the sugar and hot water and stir until dissolved. Then add the freshly squeezed lemon juice, pineapple juice and salt and stir to combine. Taste, then add more lemon juice if you prefer your lemonade more sour than sweet.
- Prepare the grilled pineapple garnish by placing pineapple rings on a grill or in a cast iron skillet over medium heat until black grill marks appear, about 3-5 minutes. Place 3 of the rings in the pitcher with the lemonade and slice the other ring into wedges to garnish glasses along with lemon slices.
- Serve chilled or refrigerate overnight to let the fruit slices further infuse into the lemonade.
