Enjoy the beloved flavor of eggnog in a new way this holiday season with a refreshing bowl of eggnog ice cream, sprinkled with ground nutmeg.

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, heat the sugar and milk, whisk to dissolve the sugar. Remove from the heat and add the eggnog. Let cool completely and refrigerate until chilled.
  2. Pour the chilled cream and eggnog mixture mixture into your ice cream maker and process according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  3. Transfer the ice cream into an airtight container and freeze for a minimum of 4 hours or overnight.
  4. Scoop into bowls. sprinkle with ground nutmeg if desired and enjoy.
