Steamed, grilled, roasted, sautéed – there are several ways to prepare asparagus for your family. But, in this recipe, we’re roasting it with flavors of lemon and a little salt. Then, after 12 minutes or so in the oven, you’ll top it with everything-bagel seasoning for a tasty twist that may quickly become your favorite way to enjoy this nutritious vegetable. Serve with rotisserie chicken and instant rice for a quick meal on a busy day.

- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Lay the asparagus out on 2 baking sheets in even layers. Add olive oil, kosher salt and lemon juice, and toss to coat evenly.
- Roast the asparagus for 12-15 minutes, or until just tender. Transfer to a serving platter and top with everything-bagel seasoning.
Recipe Tip: These flavors work really well with green beans too, so feel free to make that swap the next time you want to make a dish like this.
