- Heat a small frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Dust both sides of the steak with the pepper.
- Add the red wine and the balsamic vinegar to the pan. Sear both sides of the steak and the outsides until they turn lightly brown.
- Lower heat just a touch and cover the pan with a lid and let the steak cook for 5 minutes or so on each side or until desired doneness inside.
