Flat Belly Salad

This light, healthy salad is versatile and can be made as the main meal or as a complimentary side to any dish. The proteins can also be switched up to make the salad vegan or not!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. lace a small amount of water in the bottom of a fry pan. It won’t come up more than 1/8th of an inch on the side of the pan.
  2. Heat the water over medium-high heat and add the onion, fennel and carrot slices.
  3. Simmer with or without the lid on until all of the water has evaporated and the vegetables are tender.
  4. Assemble the salad and top with your favorite dressing.
