A delicious, creamier, and more sinful version of Tiramisu, a recipe I learned from my host-grandmother in France.


Select ingredients:


  1. Beat the yellow of the eggs with the sugar until they whiten. Add the mascarpone, mix well. Add the rhum or vanilla, mix some more. In a seperate bowl, beat the egg whites till they are foamy, then add them to the mix.
  2. Prepare a very strong coffee with one cup of water. In the bowl you plant to serve in, put one layer of lady fingers soaked in the coffee, then put the cream mixture on top, and sprinkle cocoa powder. Repeat process until cream, and lady fingers are used up.
