These tenders would go great over a bed of lettuce and with chopped vegetables for a complete salad meal.
In a small mixing bowl, combine flour, garlic salt, pepper, onion powder and cayenne pepper.
In another small bowl, crack and whisk two eggs.
In assembly line fashion, dip each chicken tender into the egg mixture...
...and then the flour mixture
In a deep skillet or Dutch oven, heat oil using Medium heat.
Once oil is hot (not smoking), place chicken tenders in oil. Each tender must be touching bottom of the pan, so fry in shifts if you have a smaller skillet.
Cook 2-4 minutes (depending on thickness of tender) on each side, or until crust is golden brown. Place on a baker’s rack to dry. Serve hot.
