Select ingredients:


  1. In a large, deep saucepan over medium heat, saute the onions and carrots in the butter for several minutes, then add the tomatoes, the green beans, the chicken stock, the tomato paste, and the water. Season with the salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Add the pasta and continue cooking for approximately 10 to 20 minutes.
  3. Serve warm; sprinkle with grated Parmesan if desired.
