Bring this recipe into your home for the holidays! An extra creamy and cheesy version of classic mashed potatoes, our Garlic and Herb Mashed Potatoes recipe uses a package of Boursin® cheese (which can be found in the dairy aisle in our stores), as well as fresh chives on top. It’s a slight twist that will make this side dish taste extra special for the season and ready to pair with your traditional holiday meal.
Ingredients
Directions
- Place water and salt in a large pot. Add cold water to cover and place over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil and lower heat. Simmer the potatoes for 10 to 12 minutes, or until very tender.
- Drain the potatoes and return to the pot. Mash the potatoes until desired consistency is achieved. Add milk, butter, and Boursin® cheese and stir until the cheese is melted and potatoes are smooth. Stir in chopped chives and season, to taste, with more salt. Garnish with chopped chives.
Recipe Tip: Parsley or scallions would both be good alternatives if you don’t have chives on-hand.
