- If chopping crystallized ginger, place the ginger in a few tablespoons of sugar. This will help separate the pieces and garnish the glass nicely.
- Wipe rims of the glasses with a lemon wedge and dip rims in finely chopped crystallized ginger sugar mixture.
- In a large pouring pitcher combine the crystallized ginger and lemon juice. Muddle with a wooden spoon. Pour in beer and ginger ale. Stir gently and serve in chilled glasses. Garnish with lemon slices.
