Golf Tee Cupcakes

Celebrate Dad's love of golf with these adorable and tee-riffic cupcakes.

- Begin by creating golf flag toppers for your cupcakes. Draw or print diamond-shaped numbered flags.

Cut out the flags.

Place glue on one half of each flag.

Fold the flag over a candle or toothpick.

Set aside.

Add yellow and green food coloring to your buttercream.

Mix until you achieve a shade of grass-green.

Frost each cupcake with buttercream and smooth with a knife.

Place the sanding sugar on a plate.

Carefully dip and lightly roll each cupcake in the sugar until the frosting is covered. (For a variation, roll only the edge of the cupcake in the sugar, and leave the frosting in the middle so that it looks like a golf green.)

Prepare to assemble your cupcakes.

Place a flag in each cupcake.

Place one "golf ball" candy on each cupcake.
