Ingredients
Directions
- Blanch the green beans for 3 minutes.
- Whip up a batch of your favorite dough, or use the pre-made refrigerated versions. Roll out to a thickness of about ¼-inch, then cut into 8 rectangles measuring 3x6-inches.
- Along the center of each rectangle, sprinkle a base of mozzarella cheese, then add 1 slice of bacon and enough green beans to make three rows of beans lengthwise.
- Roll the dough into the shape of a breadstick.
- In a small bowl, mix the egg and milk along with the Parmesan and oregano and brush onto breadstick tops if desired, or they can be left plain.
- In a preheated 400-degree oven, place the sticks on a baking sheet and bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- After the sticks have slightly cooled, cut them into 1-inch pieces.
