Grilled Cauliflower Steaks

These cauliflower steaks are healthy and hearty, not to mention flavorful. So add them to your cookout menu and fire up the grill! Double the recipe to make enough for the whole gang.

  1. Slice off the bulk of the stem and the leaves from the base of the head of cauliflower, then slice off ½”-3/4” thick pieces, reserving the florets that fall off the slices.
  2. Brush both sides of the steaks with olive oil, then sprinkle the lime juice, chili powder, paprika, salt and garlic on both sides.
  3. Turn your grill to medium high and arrange the steaks, placing loose florets on top of foil to keep them from falling through the cracks. Cook for 15-20 minutes, flipping once halfway through. When steaks are slightly charred and cooked to your satisfaction, remove from heat, sprinkle the lime zest and cilantro, and serve immediately.
