Take a classic chicken recipe up a notch for Valentine's Day by making it into the shape of a heart. Get this easy and festive chicken recipe!

Select ingredients:

  1. After cleaning the chicken breast, start to prep the 'heart-shape'. Cut the chicken breasts horizontally from top to bottom. Fan the chicken open like a book, keep the tender underneath - so that it does not split into two.
  2. Sprinkle the spice rub of choice over both sides of the breast.
  3. Heat a skillet over a medium to medium-high heat with a small amount of oil. Place the chicken breast (tender facing up) and cook for 3 minutes. Flip the chicken and cook for another 3-5 minutes. Cook for an additional minute on each side if you are using a thick-cut chicken breast.
  4. Pair with steamed carrots and broccoli for the perfect side!
