- Add olive oil to pot and set on medium heat. Once oil is hot, add garlic and onions and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add tomatoes, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, sugar and salt. Stir.
- Bring to a low boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
