Honey Almond Custard

Honey, eggs, and almonds--all together in an old-fashioned custard that's truly a delight.


Select ingredients:


  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, honey, cinnamon, and salt. Slowly add the half-and-half and milk, then whisk to combine all ingredients.
  2. Pour the mixture into ramekins, stopping 1/2- to 3/4-inch from the top of the ramekin. Place the ramekins in a large roasting pan and fill the pan with hot water until it reaches about halfway up the side of the ramekins.
  3. Lightly cover the roasting pan with aluminum foil and bake in a 350-degree oven for one hour or until set.
