For a quick and easy side dish that everyone will love, try this honey glazed carrots recipe. Make this on the stove and sprinkle with nutmeg for added flavor!
- Fill a pot with a lid with about 1 inch of water, add carrots, then bring to a boil and cover. Continue to cook the carrots at a low boil for 10-12 minutes or until the carrots are fork-tender.
- Drain the carrots, reduce heat to low, then add the salt, butter or margarine, and honey. Stir until butter has melted, then continue to cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute.
- Transfer the carrots to a serving dish and top with chopped parsley and additional honey drizzle if desired. Serve warm.
