Ham and cheese subs are a simple and delicious option for lunch or quick dinner. Melted gooey cheese with honey ham on a toasted French hoagie sub roll.

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Split the hoagie rolls. Line a half sheet pan lined with parchment paper and set aside.
  3. Mix the mustard and mayonnaise together in a small bowl with a spoon. Spread a thin layer of mustard mayonnaise mixture on each roll. Layer a few slices of honey ham on the bottom of each roll. Place 2 slices of each type of cheese on top of the ham. Place the top of the roll on the cheese.
  4. Place the subs on the half sheet pan. Place in the oven for 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the rolls are crunchy. Serve with freshly sliced tomato, pickles and chips.
