Our take on a classic southern banana cake with timeless appeal.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prep two 9-inch cake pans with flour and butter
Sift the flour, sugar, salt, and baking soda together and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the eggs, oil, bananas, pineapple, and nuts. Add flour mixture and mix together by hand.
Pour batter into cake pans and bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Remove the cake from the oven and set aside to cool.
Prepare the frosting by blending together the cream cheese, butter, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
Evenly spread frosting on cake and serve!
