Irish Soda Bread

Crusty on the outside, soft on the inside, this Irish soda bread has nothing but wholesome ingredients.

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease and flour a bread pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and sugar.
  3. Add the buttermilk, butter and egg. Remove the dough and place on a flat, floured surface and knead for 1 minute or so. Form the dough into a loaf shape and place into the bread pan.
  4. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the dough is baked through.
