Vegetable side dishes don't get easier, or tastier than this. Broccoli, garlic and chickpeas are great flavor mates--complementing each other like three best friends. This dish is filling and flavorful enough to be a main course for vegetarians.
- Steam broccoli until crisp/tender. AS it's steaming, make the sauce: Melt the butter, olive oil, anchovy, garlic and chili pepper in a very small pot over medium heat.
- When the broccoli is done, drain well and toss with beans, then drizzle sauce over and add Parmesan and a squeeze of lemon. Serve hot.
