Is honey nut flavored cereal a favorite in your household? Then these bars are the perfect thing to make for your family to enjoy with breakfast or during snack time. And besides being delicious, another great thing about them is that you only need six ingredients to make them. However, if someone in the family has a peanut allergy, feel free to switch things up and use almond butter and chopped almonds instead.

  1. Line an 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper. Mix together the Cheerios and chopped peanuts in a medium bowl and set aside.
  2. Whisk together the peanut butter, honey and cinnamon in a medium saucepan set over medium heat. Cook for 2-3 minutes until melted and smooth.

  3. Pour over the Cheerios and mix until the cereal is evenly coated.

  4. Evenly press the mixture into the prepared pan. Sprinkle with the chocolate chips and chill for 1 hour before cutting into bars.

Recipe Tip: Get creative with these bars by mixing in chopped dried fruit, toasted coconut or even crushed pretzels!
