- Start by spreading the refried beans across the bottom of a 7x10 inch or similarly sized dish. Continue layering the cream cheese, followed by the guacamole and thick salsa (watery salsa will muddy the layers), smoothing each with a spatula to ensure each layer is evenly spread. Sprinkle cheese across the top, then add olives and cilantro.
