- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Mix together Extra Virgin Olive Oil, garlic, salt and pepper in a small bowl.
- Line a nonstick baking sheet with your Italian bread slices.
Brush each slice with olive oil mixture.
Lay one slice of prosciutto onto each slice of bread, folding and bunching it so that it doesn't hang off of the slice.
Top each piece of prosciutto with one sage leaf.
Cover each piece with a slice of fresh mozzarella.
Bake for 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bread is golden brown on the edges.
- Hint: For crispier bread, use a baking rack with your baking sheet.
