Mashed potatoes and baconâ the ingredients for the perfect appetizer! The creamy accompaniment of cheddar and sour cream make this creamily satisfying.

- To the mashed potatoes, add the bacon, onion, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir until thoroughly combined.
- Using a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass, cut 3-inch circles in the dough. Place each dough circle in the cup of a mini muffin tin.
- Into each muffin cup, add 1 rounded teaspoon of the mashed potato mixture. Top with 1 teaspoon of shredded cheese, and then fold the piecrust into pleats around the edge.
- In a preheated 375-degree oven, bake the tartlets for 20 to 25 minutes or until the piecrust is golden brown.
- Remove the tartlets from the oven and allow to cool slightly, then top with 1 teaspoon of sour cream immediately prior to serving.
