Mexican Stuffed Shells

A fun twist on typical tacos, these shells are full of Mexican flavor and can be altered to make spicier or milder to taste.



  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Bring large pot of water to boil
  3. Pour 3/4 box uncooked jumbo shells into boiling water
  4. While shells are cooking, brown ground beef until no loner pink. Add all of the spices in and mix into meat.
  5. Once spices and meat are thoroughly mixed, pour entire container of cream cheese into meat and mix well.
  6. Once shells are done cooking, drain with strainer and let stand to cool for about 5 minutes.
  7. In a 9 x 12 pan, pour a layer of salsa
  8. Scoop meat mixture (about 3 tablespoons) into cooled shells and place inside the pan.
  9. Pour remaining jar of salsa over pans of shells and top with taco cheese
  10. Top with crushed tortilla chips
  11. Cover with tin foil and bake for 30 minute. Take out and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
