Walnut oil has a pleasant, nutty taste that pairs nicely with pears. Or substitute an apple if you prefer.

  1. Whisk together all the vinaigrette ingredients in a large bowl. Taste and adjust the seasoning.
  2. Add the greens to the vinaigrette and toss. Add the pear and toss again.
  3. Sprinkle the servings with the blue cheese and pecans.
