Caramel apples are a sweet confection typically found at local fairs, and this recipe gives you the chance to enjoy the same tasty flavors, but as a dip! Also reminiscent of cheesecake with cream cheese mixed in, this dippable dessert is decadent and oh-so-easy to make. In fact, you can whip up a batch in just 10 short minutes. Then, all that’s left is to let it set for an hour in the refrigerator and serve with sliced apples, graham crackers, vanilla wafers and so on.
- Mix together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and salt in a large bowl using a hand mixer until smooth and creamy. Add the apple pie filling and continue to mix until combined and the apples are broken into smaller pieces.
- Stir in 4 tablespoons of the caramel sauce and pour the mixture into a serving bowl. Refrigerate for 1 hour to allow it to set. Drizzle with the remaining caramel sauce.
- Serve with sliced apples, graham crackers and/or vanilla wafers.
