These energy bites are the perfect snack for when youâ re on-the go and need a quick pick-me-up. Full of protein, healthy fat and energizing carbohydrates, you may want to keep them in your freezer year-round.
- In a food processor, place about half the oats and all the dates. Process on low until no chunks of dates larger than a pea remain. Then add the remaining ingredients and pulse until combined.
- Using your hands, roll the mixture into 1 to 1 Â½-inch balls. If they are having trouble sticking together, add more agave or a little water 1 teaspoon at a time. Store in the refrigerator or freezer until ready to eat.
