Oatmeal Cookies with Cranberries and Pecans

The Cranberry and Pecan flavors shine in this Oatmeal Cookie recipe. You can't have just have one!


Select ingredients:


  1. Beat sugars, margarine and shortening until creamy. Add eggs, milk and vanilla; mix well.
  2. Combine oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl.
  3. Add to margarine mixture ; mix well.
  4. Stir in cranberries or butterscotch chips and pecans, if desired. Chill dough 1 hour.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°
  6. Drop rounded teaspoon of mixture onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before removing to racks to cool.
