The Cranberry and Pecan flavors shine in this Oatmeal Cookie recipe. You can't have just have one!
Beat sugars, margarine and shortening until creamy. Add eggs, milk and vanilla; mix well.
- Combine oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl.
- Add to margarine mixture ; mix well.
Stir in cranberries or butterscotch chips and pecans, if desired. Chill dough 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°
Drop rounded teaspoon of mixture onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before removing to racks to cool.
