There’s nothing quite as comforting as a bowl of warm and hearty chili. However, some recipes take over an hour to make, and there are days when you simply don’t have that kind of time on your hands. Enjoy a delicious chili meal in no time with this One-Pot Taco Chili. Made with ground beef, two types of beans, corn, tomatoes & green chilies, taco seasoning and pickled jalapenos, this chili will quickly remind you of your favorite Mexican dishes, like tacos. You can also serve it with crushed tortilla chips on top or with a side of cornbread.
Ingredients
Directions
- Heat a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and break into pieces using a wooden spoon. Season with salt and pepper, if desired. Cook for 6-8 minutes until the meat is browned and cooked through. Drain any excess grease.
- Add the black beans, kidney beans, corn, diced tomatoes and chilies, tomato sauce, tomato paste, jalapenos and taco seasoning to the pot. Mix to evenly combine.
- Simmer over low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve hot with favorite toppings.
Recipe Tip: TTo cook in a slow cooker, add browned meat and remaining ingredients together and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
