- Preheat your oven to 325 degrees.
- Spread onions on the bottom of a baking dish. Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the brisket and place on top of the onions.
- Mix the BBQ sauce, broth, and brown sugar together and pour over the brisket. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 3 hours.
- Remove the foil and bake an additional 30 minutes and let rest. Serve with the pan sauce.
