- Spread Bisquick in a tray
- Rinse Trout and pat dry
- Dredge trout in bisquick, covering the whole skin as evenly as possible
- Open fish and spread the salt, pepper and oregano inside the fish
- Slice 1 lemon in half and the other into slices
- Heat medium sized skillet on the stove top, melting in butter or oil. Place sliced lemons in pan
- Cook trout on medium for 5-6 minutes or until the batter is golden brown.
- Flip the trout and the lemons, cook for another 5-6 minutes or until golden brown
- Remove trout from pan. Skin should be crispy and the flesh flaky.
- Squeeze halved lemon on top of fish and enjoy!
