When you think about Valentine’s Day, beautiful red roses probably come to mind. That’s why we’ve taken a family favorite food and made it holiday-ready with these Pepperoni Pizza Roses. To make them, you’ll only need six ingredients total, so they’re pretty low-cost as well. Enjoy as an appetizer or snack or serve with a side salad for complete meal.
Ingredients
Directions
-
Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray. Place pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and cut in half. Refrigerate one half for a future use and roll the other half into an 8-inch-long rectangle.
-
Cut 2-inch-wide strips of dough and spoon pizza sauce over each strip. Layer overlapping pepperoni slices across each strip and top with cheese.
-
Roll each strip into a loose coil.
-
Place each rose in muffin tin and brush outside of the crust with olive oil. Bake 25-30 minutes, until golden-brown and bubbly. Garnish with basil leaves.
