Putting pimento cheese inside of your burger adds a cool surprise of intense cheddar and pimento flavor. It's best to eat this one with an extra napkin at the ready.
Ingredients
Directions
- In a bowl, combine cheddar cheese, cream cheese, pimentos, mayo, ground red pepper flakes, Worcestershire sauce and diced pimento till throughly mixed and set aside.
- Flatten your raw ground beef onto a cutting board. Place a spoonful of the pimento cheese mixture in the center and form a patty around it completely encasing it in the meat.
- Place the meat on the grill and grill about 4 minutes on each side. Use a meat thermometer if necessary to test inside temperature.
- Build the burger with lettuce and tomato. No need for extra mayo, as the center provides that creamy texture when you take a bite.
