This simple yet flavorful oatmeal is good served hot or cold, so eat it right out of the pot on a chilly morning or right out of the fridge with a splash of milk on top for a quick breakfast.

- In a pot, bring water and salt to a boil then add oats. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes until oats are soft and water is absorbed. Remove from heat, divide evenly into two bowls, and top each with half the pineapple, mint, and honey or sugar. Stir to combine and enjoy.
