- Once the top of the pineapple is removed use a pineapple corer to remove the fresh pineapple from inside the rind and cube the fruit flesh. Leave the pineapple core in place.
- (Optional) Freeze the pineapple rind for 30 minutes and remove from the freezer before filling it with the smoothie.
- Combine all ingredients in a high powered blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour smoothie into the pineapple rind and serve with a straw immediately. Garnish with umbrella style toothpicks and stemmed cherries.
