Whether youâ re going meatless this 4th of July or simply want another tasty option for the grill this summer, give this delicious Portobello burger a go. The large mushrooms are dense and meaty and offer a whole different flavor profile than typical BBQ fare.

- First, whisk together vinegar, oil, soy sauce and mustard in a shallow baking dish or pan, then place the caps in the liquid, spooning some of the sauce over top of them. Soak the for at least 15 minutes, flipping once to encourage absorption.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high, then place the caps on the grates, spooning more of the sauce on top. Cook for 8-10 minutes, depending on your grill, then flip, spoon on more liquid, and cook for another 8 minutes. If desired, add cheese during the last few minutes of cooking.
- When mushrooms are tender, remove from heat and place on a bun along with lettuce, tomato, or your favorite burger toppings.
